Episode 1.12 prologue Demon

It is night…always is. Jennifer is outside a bar that caters for the local Anarchs gang, a roving group of bikers that visit the area every few weeks. The professor had informed her that this gang may have been responsible for assisting the importation of vampires from outside New Providence. It is what she expected, 40 or so bikes parked outside the rambling building and the music loud and partying as people flock to the bar for a good time. A limousine pulls up before the bar and out steps 4 guards dressed in black and yes, looking cool as she would expect then out steps a man dressed in a fine suit, totally out of place for this location…but she recognises him…his face is totally red and two horns protrude from his fore head and he sends a shiver down her spine.

A block away Gabriel has been following Jennifer and contacts the Scoobies.
"A bikie place...this could get pretty wild and scarily so." Jacob says and Scoob agrees whining.
"Just keep in touch in case anything happens." Gabriel says.
"Umm, does she know you are there." Ryan asks. "I mean we don't you know, want to step on her ground;..she might get girlish...upset and that."
"Hey, we are here to back her...and back her we will."
"You got that right." Tanya says looking at Ryan and Jacob. "Do I have to be the man among you lot."

Episode 1.12 act 1

The visitor and guards enter the bar.

The professor is sure worried about the Anarch’s activities. He is concerned that more and more vampires were finding their way to New Providence. The problems this could bring were varied beyond the threat they pose to the population. Anything from territory to power struggles were on the cards and the professor deemed the arrival of new vampires was a very recent phenomenon. Where were they coming from? The professor did not tell her, but the Anarch’s could provide a clue. If we were to understand their operation and who they met with and stop them…it would be a blow indeed to the vamps desire to come here. This was the second such operation, the first discovered earlier by Rhys before and it seemed there were two routes been used by vampires to enter New Providence and both had to be stopped. Now there was this demon…what had it to do with this. The professor did say that both sometimes worked together but payment in kind was always bargained for.

Watching from the darkness of an alleyway opposite the street she saw the doors flung open and three men emerge fighting with broken bottles. One of them was thrown into a group of bikes parked to the left of the veranda while the other two brawled along the veranda the broken bottles doing considerable damage, cutting one of the men’s leather jackets to shreds along the left side. Others emerge to watch and cheer the two on while a couple of others help the third to his feet, hand covering a bleeding forehead. Most of those watching were Anarch’s their black leather jackets with the red skull and two black rifles in an x shape emblazoned on the backs. Two other gangs were their too, the Sontorros and the Road Killers and it seemed one of the Road Killers had become the target of an Anarch biker who fought against his foe without compassion slicing his face with the jagged edge of the bottle and driving the jagged edge into his foe’s right eye eliciting a scream of pain before he fell to the ground, blood streaming from the wound.
“If you are going to stay here best keep to the rules of Mr Nice when he is in town.” One of the Anarchs said addressing the other two gangs. “Understood.”
The others nodded warily.
The Anarch continued addressing the other two gangs as more people emerge from the club, loud music thumping within. “He broke two rules, first, he began messing around with one of Mr Nice’s girls and secondly…he stared at Mr Nice. No one stares at Mr Nice for he takes offence, get what I mean.”
The others looked at each other and nodded.
“Good, once Mr Nice goes then it is back to normal boys. Now, get this trash inside as Mr Nice could do with some payback for his insolence.” Two of the Anarchs pick up the body of the fallen biker and carry him inside the others following seemingly cheerful about the outcome. Even from cover Jennifer could smell the sickening smell of drugs emerging from the open door and she did see a number of the bikers smoking…presumably joints.

“Rather primitive and disgusting.” A voice said from behind the Slayer. Turning she sees Shikarzu emerging from the darkness dressed in a tight fitting black jumpsuit. “Greetings Jennifer how nice to see you again.” She said smiling joining the Slayer in the alley where she was watching the club. “What are you doing here?”
